I joined the Wibbily team in 2018, Wibbliy is an application born from the mind of Thomas Budin, a french entrepreneur living in Singapore.

Wibbily is a web application connected to its user agendas. Its goal is to help manage the balance between private and professional life. The main objective of Wibbily being to prevent burnout. It is a great individual tool, but also a great asset for team managers, giving the opportunity to share the workload equivalently between the employees, making sure no-one is overwhelmed.

Wibbliy’s approach is benevolent, it is about a companion that helps to avoid overstrain while reaching the goals you set for yourself or your team.

Wibbily automatically analyzes all of your linked agendas and detects the event’s types, it then occurs a regular report on your activity and warns you when you have a risky behavior for your life balance. Likewise it helps you to fix long term personal goals, in order to create you habits like doing sport regularly, reading more or focusing on one of your projects.it is a great asset for entrepreneurs, giving a quick review on your productivity.

In the team, I took the role of product designer, I constant discussions with Thomas Budin and the user feedbacks he had, to prototype the most ergonomic interfaces marked with the Wibbily identity wich was at first only defined by its mascot. I also produced the guidelines for the front-end developers through a complete UI kit.

We chose to design the interfaces in a way that the user never has to click on any validation button in order to make the experience the smoothest as possible, matching the vision of Wibbily, where you can move from a page to another without ever being held back or slowed.

Conclusion

Wibbily was my first job as a complete autonomous freelance. I had a great time working with Thomas and Mathis, each one having his own speciality. We trusted each other to give the best of what we were capable of in this project. It learned a lot from this way of working, starting from a few ideas and some sketches from the mind of Thomas, with the key words “serenity, confort, peaceful” to a complete product and identity I am proud of.

It was also challenging as we were an international team with a 7h time difference between Singapore and Nantes, plus all our individual schedules, each one of us still having an activity beside. Definitely It teached me a lot about time management and how to communicate my design to my team.
